In 2022 Sarah was 1st at the Hertfordshire (state) 800m Champs and was 1st at Herts Schools for 1500m in 2021 and 2022. She was 16th (out of 275) at the English National XC Champs (5km), 43rd (out of 300) at the English Schools XC Champs (4.39km) and 34th (out of 300) at the National Inter-counties XC Champs (5.4km).
PB’s: 800m = 2:23.53; 1500m = 4:50.2; 3000m = 10:25; 5k XC – 17:27. She has represented her state at Nat’l XC’s for 6 straight years. Her coach comments on her self-motivation, good team ethic and self confidence and said: “Sarah has the sporting, academic and personal qualities to be an asset to a top US university.”
Sarah is Captain and #1 at her school, best girl athlete at her club and has achieved her current times with only 6-7 hours training per week. She is a 4.0 student who would like to study mathematics at a US college with strong academics and a good track/xc program. A great prospect for 2023.
